Kim Junsu’s agency has officially announced that it has identified multiple individuals responsible for spreading malicious content online and is moving forward with legal action.

On May 31, 2025, KST, his agency PALMTREE ISLAND released an official statement, confirming that it is responding firmly to defamatory posts, false rumors, and slanderous content targeting the artist. “We have consistently stated our intent to respond firmly to the spread of false information, malicious slander, and defamatory posts targeting our artist,” the agency wrote. “We are now in the midst of executing full legal procedures in accordance with that policy.”

According to the agency, multiple complaints have been submitted to the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, and several individuals behind malicious posts have already been identified. The investigation into these individuals is currently in progress. “For cases where legal outcomes have been finalized, we will provide additional information at an appropriate time,” the statement added.

The agency stressed that it would not reach any settlements with offenders and that it considers the long-term psychological distress suffered by Kim Junsu due to malicious posts to be a serious matter. PALMTREE ISLAND is also actively monitoring harmful content posted on major online communities including DC Inside, TheQoo, Instiz, Daum Cafe, and Nate Pann, and is simultaneously pursuing legal measures in those cases.

“Anyone who continues to engage in malicious behavior under the veil of anonymity will face strong legal consequences without any leniency,” the company emphasized.
