According to media outlet reports on June 19 KST, a report has been filed through the Seoul Gangnam Police Station against former The Boyz member Ju Hak Nyeon, asking for an investigation into the idol's solicitation of prostitution allegations.
The anonymous filer stated, "Based on recent media outlet reports, Ju Nak Neyon admitted that he solicited prostitution through his label. It is said that another producer at the company was also removed from his position after soliciting prostitution."
The report then said, "Although the crime in question occurred in Tokyo, Japan, Ju Hak Nyeon is also punishable by law for soliciting prostitution outside of South Korea as a South Korean citizen."
Earlier on June 18 KST, The Boyz's label ONE HUNDRED announced Ju Hak Nyeon's departure from the group as well as from the company due to issues with his "private life". Previously, a photo of Ju Hak Nyeon at a bar with Japanese AV actress Asuka Kirara surfaced online, stirring up a buzz. Sources claimed that the photo was taken in Tokyo, Japan on May 29-30.
However, Ju Hak Nyeon himself denied any allegations of "illegal activities" in an apology letter, posted on his Instagram in the early hours of June 19.
